Kern’s remains open on most national holidays, although individual tenant hours may be limited. The property is fully closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Yes. Free on-site parking is available for Kern’s guests. During especially busy periods, overflow parking may be directed to the Riverwalk Garage, accessible from Blount Avenue and Mimosa Avenue.

On University of Tennessee home game days, the main lot is reserved for paying Kern’s guests. Keep a same-day purchase receipt visible on your dashboard if you leave the property.

Designated game-day parking may also be offered through individual day passes or season passes.

Yes. Kern’s offers accessible parking, accessible entrances, and interior pathways designed to meet ADA accessibility standards.

Yes. Kern’s is located near a KAT bus stop serving routes 41 and 44. Bike racks are also available throughout the property for guests arriving by bicycle.

Seating throughout the open market is first-come, first-served and cannot be reserved.

Eggspectation accepts restaurant reservations when arranged directly with its team. For private events or organized group gatherings, explore our dedicated event spaces and submit an inquiry.

Absolutely. Kern’s regularly hosts live music, markets, outdoor entertainment, movie nights, watch parties, community programming, and seasonal experiences.

When the game is available through local broadcast channels, we generally show it on screens throughout the indoor market and outdoor event lawn.

Bring your Tennessee gear, a comfortable lawn chair, and your favorite people. Food and drinks can be purchased from Kern’s vendors throughout the event.

Yes. Licensed bars throughout Kern’s serve craft beer, wine, cocktails, and nonalcoholic options. Alcohol is only served through approved bar areas and is not available at every food counter.

Outside food and beverages are not permitted, including birthday cakes. Exceptions may be made for infant feeding needs and medically necessary dietary requirements.

Kern’s is a cashless property. Vendors accept major credit cards, debit cards, and contactless payments.

Digital Kern’s gift cards are accepted at most participating vendors. Current exclusions include F45, Orange Nail Spa, and Eggspectation.

Kern’s is a casual, premium dining hall. Choose a vendor, place your order directly at its counter, and find an available seat throughout the indoor or outdoor common areas.

Traditional host and table service are not provided outside of Eggspectation.

Yes. Kern’s offers food choices for a wide range of tastes, plenty of casual seating, and outdoor lawn space for families to enjoy.

Certain bar counters, lounges, and the rooftop may become restricted to guests ages 21 and older during designated hours or special events.

Yes—we love welcoming four-legged guests to our outdoor event lawn. Water bowls are available, and pets must remain leashed and supervised at all times.
